The selection process starts on the due date of the application forms and ends with the publication of the list of the thirty students admitted to the MAF.
The selection process is divided in 3 stages:

1 Evaluation of admission requirements in the application forms.

During this stage, the Commission evaluates the applicant’s eligibility trough these requirements

2 Evaluation and selection of curriculums of the candidates.

Once the requirements evaluation stage is over, the next phase involves evaluation of each candidate on the basis of these criteria:
a  Degree mark / Average exam mark
b  Extra-academic experiences
c  Knowledge of the English languages and other foreign languages
d  Courses and Master’s degree attended
e  Phd
f  Work experiences

Due to the high number of application forms sent each year (see statistics), the I.P.E. selects among all candidatures a maximum of 100 students who will access the third stage of the selection process.

3 Selection interviews

Selection interviews take place at the I.P.E., according to the calendar that will be published on the website once the second selection stage is over.

The interviews involve:

a  An informative questionnaire

b  An English test

c  A computer science test

d  A motivational interview

The entire test lasts, in general, 2 hours. At the end of the third and last stage, the judging Commission will draft the pass-list of students admitted to the MFA. Those admitted to the Course will have to, according to the dates indicated in the calendar, communicate their decision to attend the MFA by sending a Statement. All communications regarding admission or non-admission to the MFA are published on this website or emailed to candidates. No type of message will be communicated by telegram or by standard mail. Please visit the FAQ section for any specific question you may have.
